Housing Services

Ruby’s Place Housing Program is tailored to help homeless survivors of domestic violence or human trafficking with rental subsidies, deposits and/or moving expenses. The goal of the housing program is to ensure a survivor a safe place for their families and an opportunity to reach self-sufficiency.

Subsidy

Ruby’s Place assists in offering housing subsidies for low to highly low-income survivors. The length of support is based on the client’s household needs. While it varies from client to client on how long the subsidy will last in the Ruby’s Place Housing Program, the duration usually ranges from six months to two years.

Navigation

Ruby’s Place offers housing navigation that meets with a survivor, develops housing plans, and addresses the housing barriers the survivor is facing. Our housing team works directly with landlords and property managers to advocate and negotiate for a survivor’s equal housing opportunities. Our main goal is to offer assistance in obtaining and maintaining housing.
